Botanical Dwellings is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team in the Spring of 2023 in Culpeper, Virginia. As an entry level Sales Associate, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, helping customers find the perfect plants and products for their needs, and contributing to the success of our store.
Job Title: Sales Associate at Botanical Dwellings
Location: Culpeper, Virginia
Job Type: Part-time
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide a welcoming atmosphere in the store
- Assist customers in finding plants and products that meet their needs
- Provide informed advice and guidance on plant care and maintenance
- Process sales transactions and handle cash and credit card payments
- Maintain knowledge of current inventory and restock products as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Participate in regular training sessions to maintain knowledge of current industry trends and best practices
- Help with workshops & events as needed
- Processing & pricing new arrivals
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Move supplies weighing up to 50 pounds
- Basic computer skills
- A passion for plants and a desire to learn about the plant industry
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred, but not required.
