After Hours is an art experience exploring love, luck, temptation, and the choices we make when we’re willing to take a chance.
Inspired by the mood and glamour of late nights, the collection pulls from vintage nightlife, games of chance, and the idea of playing the hand you’re dealt. Playing cards, dice, chess pieces, pool tables, cocktails, and other familiar symbols become part of a larger conversation about connection, risk, strategy, desire, and the decisions that can change everything.
Throughout the collection, rich reds move through a darker, moodier palette, paired with dramatic lighting and a cinematic-inspired feel. The result is a body of work that lives somewhere between nostalgia and possibility—the moments when you know the rules, understand the risk, and decide to play anyway.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Kat Tines is an artist and muralist whose work is rooted in storytelling, curiosity, and connection. A former art teacher, she has spent much of her career creating large-scale murals that transform schools and community spaces, while continuing to develop a personal studio practice that explores emotion, memory, growth, and the experiences that connect us.
Influenced by the visual energy of street art, the places and people around her, and her own evolving experiences, Kat creates work that feels expressive, layered, and deeply human.
