Job Title: Seasonal Sales Associate
Location: Botanical Dwellings and Fulton Found in Culpeper, Virginia
Hourly Rate: $14
Job Type: Part-Time / 20-25 hours per week
About Us: Botanical Dwellings and Fulton Found are looking for a motivated, customer-focused Sales Associate for the holiday season. You'll work at both our plant-focused store, Botanical Dwellings, and our masculine lifestyle boutique, Fulton Found. We value community, inclusivity, and making a positive impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and create a welcoming store environment
- Assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs, including plants, lifestyle items, and more
- Process sales transactions accurately, handling cash and credit card payments
- Stay up-to-date with current inventory and ensure products are restocked
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment in both locations
- Support workshops, store events, and community activities at both stores
- Provide gift wrapping services to customers during the holiday season
- Price and process new product arrivals
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across two different retail environments
- Ability to lift and move supplies up to 50 pounds
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems
- Basic math skills for accurate transaction handling
- Flexibility to assist with various tasks as needed in both stores
- A passion for plants and lifestyle products, and a desire to learn about both industries
- Retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
